Thorold, Ontario (August 23) If you like passing – we've got it … door handle to door handle and bumper to bumper!

If a good clean body check thrills you – you won't believe some of the metal crunching hits!

If you like lots of scoring – our drivers have just one goal – the checkered flag!

An action-packed 5 Division Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Show at Merrittville Speedway will provide all that and more!

Ball Hockey International invites you and your team-mates to Minor Sport Night at Merrittville Speedway, August 28th assisted by the Niagara IceDogs.

Be sure to visit the IceDogs display for information on the upcoming season – fill out a ballot and you might win a prize! You can also find more information on the 2010-2011 Season at www.niagaraicedogs.net

Whether your season is winding down as well or about to start up - wear your Team Jersey for FREE Grandstand admission - whether it's ball hockey, baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, ice hockey and any minor sport in between!

With just two 'point' events left in the 2010 Season before the huge International Championship Triple Header Finale Weekend presented by J&S Heating and Air Conditioning, the Grantham Lions and Niagara College – drivers in all divisions will be racing for every point they can get as they try to hold their own in the Championship Chase or advance positions.

Similar to last season, the Turn 4 Collision 4 Cylinder Points Race should come right down to the wire as just 12 points separate the top three. Where last year it was quite a battle between eventual champion Matt Deschamps and Rob Goulding, 2010's edition finds Aaron Wiley leading Rocco Conte and Rob Overholt.

An even tighter race finds the top three Hoosier Stock Drivers within eight points of each other with Dolf McCready just five points ahead of rookie Kevin Aube. Ken Sargent is just three points behind Aube the former 4 Cylinder Truck Racer with Kevin Knapp looking to make his way into the top three with 734 points of his own.

In the Original Pizza Logs Sportsman Division – Greg Panunte holds a 10 point edge over Brandon Easey with Cody McPherson just behind the two drivers – 16 points out of top spot.

Two divisions could already be locked up as one driver looks ahead to his 20 career title and another - his first.

Pete Bicknell currently holds a 46 point lead over Mat Williamson in the L. St. Amand Enterprises 358 Modified Division. In the final two events, Bicknell only has to stay within a few positions of Williamson who was the last driver to win back on the Avondale Food Stores Night.

Josh Sliter has had a break out season in the J&S Heating and Air Conditioning Modified Lite Division and with help from a mid season 5 race win streak – has a 59 point lead over former champion Paul Klager.

So as the top dogs in the points battle it out – so do others - looking to advance in the points as the Championship Chases wind down.
