Go Canada Racing... ready to roll

Today in Toronto, Canadian racer J.R. Fitzpatrick (l) and new team owner Steve Meehan (r) took the wraps off their new 'Go Canada Racing' NASCAR team. Meehan is the founder of the Investment Planning Counsel and now has his sights set on building a full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup team that Canadian fans can cheer for.

The team takes to the track this weekend for the NASCAR Nationwide Series stop in Nashville, TN. Go Canada Racing plans to take part in approximately 10 Nationwide Series races in 2011 and as many as three Sprint Cup races.

Caught up with Canadian J.R. Fitzpatrick in the NASCAR Nationwide Series garage on Thursday afternoon. He discussed the new track surface, his plans for 2011, and how he came to have the #27 on his car.
