Bowmanville, On - The sixth win of the OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Model series may seem a like a romp of the rest of the field but with the group of cars that are gunning to win each week is forcing John Fletcher and Team JNE Consulting to dig deep and work harder to prepare for each event. Preparation is key in racing and as a team there may be no better right now. "We continue to work hard each week on the car, in the shop and our crew works hard in knowing their jobs" John continued to add, "Gary and Bill really stepped up this week and this result is because the hard work they put in". With the absence of the teams Crew Chief Scott Fletcher, Gary Sim and Bill Snowdon worked the pit on there own.
The Team JNE Consulting 61 started in the 8th spot and picked off positions and by lap 32 challenged the race leader. Driving by on the outside to taking the lead for the final 17 circuits of the 1/2 mile Mosport International Speedway. Not only John outrun the OSCAAR competitors but also the weather that resulted in cancellation of the second set of qualifying races and bumping the 50 lap feature to take the green flag around 8:30 pm. Team JNE Consulting picked up one heat race win and opened up the point lead over the London Mechanical/JBM Leasing's Rob Clarke to 330. TJ Woosley finished second for that teams best result. Barrie's Glen Watson was forth, the 90 of Cunningham powered Pee-Wee Evans brought home fifth and the green machine of Drew "Krusty" Spicer was sixth.
Another impressive crowd despite the weather was on hand and Team JNE would like to acknowledge Mosport Speedway for rushing the show in order to get the OSCAAR race in, Wix Filter's, Hype Energy Drink and Nigel and his family of Blue Jay Catering who was on hand last Friday at Kawartha Speedway. Next up is the all-important 8th Annual Don Biederman Memorial at Peterborough Speedway.
