From Ed Moody: Cool day here at Indy with overcast. Rain shortenend the practice time and it showed in what is their biggest race of the year.
Near the end, a massive crash involving Jorge Goncalves destroyed his machine but proved the strength of the tub. Goncalves was taken to hospital but he managed to stand up to exit the car.
Canadian David Ostella finished in 8th place. The weather reports look good for the big race (Indy 500) on Sunday.
