The long anticipated wait is over and the green flag will drop this Saturday, May 7th as Coca Cola presents the Full Throttle Season Opener at Brighton Speedway. The Stock Cars will hit the track with dirt slinging action starting at 7:00 pm and fans will catch their first of 23 fun filled nights of speed. The Vanderlaan Building Supplies Pro Late Models, Bainer's Radiators Canadian Modifieds, Brighton Automotive Pro Stocks and the Bill's John Comp 4 Divisions will all see the 1/3rd mile clay oval. All fans are welcome to join us with only a $2.00 admission with a non perishable food donation. All food donations will be generously given in support of the Brighton Food Bank.
Last weekend over 50 drivers hit the track for Test and Tune, to work out any issues and take the opportunity for pre season seat time. A number of new drivers in each division and a couple of visiting drivers spent the their time enjoying the fine weather and tuning their stock cars. It was a nice weekend all around with a few hiccups for drivers to resolve before opening night arrives on Saturday.
