Today at Mosport International Raceway, Castrol Dodge driver DJ Kennington bested J.R. Fitzpatrick and Robin Buck to win the Vortex Brake Pads 200 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race.
Kennington's victory was his first NCATS road course win. The defending series champion won a CASCAR Super Series race at Mosport on June 24, 2001 (10 years and two days earlier). In that race, Kennington came home in front of a field that included John Fitzpatrick (J.R.'s dad), Robin Buck and Kevin Dowler (whose son Noel competed in today's race).
