HALIFAX, NS - Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series returns to action this Friday Night after a two week hiatus. This week 5 divisions of racecars will hit the 3/10 mile oval under the lights, including the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning cars, Trucks and the Coco Beach Legends. The Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman are off this week but return to action on June 24th.
Heat races to determine the qualifying order for each feature will begin at 7:00 pm. Features are expected to get underway by 8:00 pm.
Admission for the Weekly Racing Series – is $12.00 for adults; $2.00 for youth aged 8-15; children 7 and under are admitted free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $15.00 and restricted to those 16 and older. Tickets are available at the gate on race day. About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
