BOURQUE READY TO RACE MOSPORT

Ottawa, ON. (June 10, 2010) The 2010 Canadian NASCAR season got off to a sensational start for Pierre Bourque and his #00 Telus

Dodge team, claiming his best-ever series finish last weekend at Delaware Speedway.

The sixth place result, a very strong opening to the season, has his team focused and excited as they head to Mosport International Raceway for Round Two this weekend.

“I expect that my team owner and teammate DJ Kennington will have a great car and a very reliable engine for me at Mosport” said Bourque. “It’s a very fast and challenging race track, one of my favourites on the circuit, and I can’t wait to roar around it in my Telus Dodge.”

Bourque and his new team are also working on communication and they are developing an understanding of each other to build a strong foundation going forward.

“When it comes to describing what’s going on with the car as you’re going through the corners around the track, the language between driver and team is critical. But it is an acquired taste, a learning curve, and an important component of any success going forward” said the driver of the #00 Telus Dodge.

“Rain or shine, I love this track. I have no doubt we’ll have a strong qualifying session and we’ll be in the hunt for an excellent finish in the race itself” said Bourque. “I’ll be tweeting updates, pics, and video with my awesome Telus iPhone through the weekend.”

This weekend’s race at Mosport International Raceway features practice and qualifying on Saturday June 13^th with the race Sunday June 13^th at 1:30PM.
