Canadian Steve Arpin to drive the No 88 Realtree Outfitters Chevy for JR Motorsports at Iowa

CORNELIUS, NC - Canadian Steve Arpin gets another opportunity to race for his hometown crowd in this weekend´s US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway piloting the No. 88 Realtree Outfitters Chevrolet for JR Motorsports.

"Iowa Speedway isn´t a track you´d expect twice on a racing schedule, so I guess you could say I got lucky. It´s the closest track to my hometown we race," said Arpin. "It´s really special to be able to drive the Realtree Outfitters Chevrolet for Bill Jordan, the folks at Delta Apparel, and everyone at JR Motorsports this weekend."

Arpin has scored one top-10 and one top-15 finishes in six starts for JR Motorsports this season.  His best finish came at Daytona Int´l Raceway where he placed 10th. The Fort Frances, Ont. native joins Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kelly Bires, Ron Fellows, Jamie McMurray, Coleman Pressley and Greg Sacks as drivers of the 88 in 2010.

"Iowa is a track I raced on in ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America), but driving the Nationwide car there will be a new experience for me," explained Arpin. "I will tell you it´s a state-of-the-art facility. The folks up there should be really proud of what they built. As the defending race winners, this Realtree Outfitters team will have some pressure on us. We´re definitely up to the challenge though, and look forward to a chance at getting the Realtree Outfitters Chevrolet its first win of the season."

In addition to his on-track duties, Arpin will be participating in the NASCAR Foundation Track Walk Saturday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CT) followed by a NASCAR Nationwide autograph session from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. behind the Manatt Grandstands. He will also be signing autographs from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (CT) in the Fan Zone at the JR Nation trailer where fans will be able to purchase Limited Edition Steve Arpin/Realtree Outfitters merchandise.

Realtree, the world's leading camouflage designer, marketer, and licensor with over 2,000 licensees utilizing the Realtree camouflage brand, is primary sponsor of the No. 88 in its second of five races this season.  Realtree Outfitters will return to the No. 88 at Bristol Motor Speedway (Aug. 20), Dover International Speedway (Sept. 25) and Gateway International Raceway (Oct. 23).
