Toronto, ON. (July 21th, 2010) Pierre Bourque in the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge will begin the swing of three consecutive races in Western Canada for the Canadian NASCAR series this weekend in Edmonton as part of the Edmonton Indy weekend. Practice and Qualifying will take place Friday & Saturday respectively and the race will take the green flag this Sunday July 25th at 11AM local time.
Bourque had an exciting run last season at Edmonton in the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge and is looking for even more success. “We jumped up six positions during the race” said the driver. “And with the strenght this years car has shown at times I’m confident we can improve our quaify effot and give ourselves the opportunity for an even better race finish” he added.
After the concrete canyon last weekend in Toronto the wide open layout on the Edmonton City Center Airport presents different challenges for the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge team. “Because it’s so wide open you really have to be aware of how you approach the corners” explained the driver. “There are different lines around the race track but you can get crossed up if you’re not careful” said Bourque.
Bourque will be looking to rebound this weekend and maintain his position inside the top-ten in the overall championship for the Canadian NASCAR series. “We got a bit of a break last week when some other drivers had troubles” stated Bourque. “This week the whole DJK Racing team is focused on our job and we’re confident of a solid finish for the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge” he said confidently.
