Rain Pushes Back the Finale of Six Nation Showdown at Ohsweken Speedway to Sunday

Ohsweken, ON—July 31, 2010—Persistent rain has forced the postponement of the finale of the Six Nation Showdown at Ohsweken Speedway in Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada originally scheduled for tonight for the World of Outlaws to Sunday (August 1). A full racing program will take place on Sunday beginning with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. Eastern, followed by time trials, heats race, a dash, The Last Chance Showdown and a 30-lap, $10,000 to-win main event.

Jason Sides won the opener at Ohsweken Speedway on Friday night to score his third career win at the track in four starts. Joey Saldana, the current World of Outlaws point leader, finished fourth to extend his lead in the series championship standings to 31 markers over Steve Kinser, who finished fifth on Friday night. Jason Meyers is currently third in points with Donny Schatz fourth and Sides fifth.
