OHSWEKEN, ON - Heavy overnight rain and forecast of more through out the
day has forced Ohsweken Speedway management to cancel all activities at
the speedway scheduled for today (Friday, July 9th). "Mid Season
Championships for the Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Bombers scheduled
for tonight will be run next Friday, July 16th while the Sprint Car mid
Season Championship race will be contested July 23rd, " stated Ken
Pelkie, Director of Racing Operations.
Next Friday (July 16th) the Empire Super Sprints and CORR/Pak Sprints of
Ohsweken will headline a co sanctioned show as Gale's Auto Aftermarket
presents "The Battle On The Grand". Pit gates will open at 5:30 with on
track activities scheduled to begin at 7:45.
